1997 – It is during the summer of 1997, that four friends, Antonio Zamporlini, Franco Rosi, Alfio Bigi e Mauro Costamagna, decide to recover and valorise the chocolate confectioner’s tradition of Perugia.
Zamporlini, current majority stock holder, guided by that pinch of eccentricity, which is always at the foundation of great enterprises, invites Franco, Alfio and Mauro to dinner: they all do agree that times are mature to give life to a new chocolate confectionery.
The following months are frenetic and the enthusiasm irresistible. Having identified an area zoned for agro-food production in Pantalla, between Perugia and Todi, construction and equipping of the new production facility with cutting edged production plants begin.
2003 – The real adventure begins.
Vannucci is finally real, a company that with passion produces high quality artisanal chocolates, always respecting the most authentic confectionery tradition of Perugia. Of this tradition Vannucci wants to keep every peculiarity, also thanks to advanced technologies: by combining tradition with innovation, Vannucci produces gourmet pralines.
Vannucci has among its own role models, those which made of Perugia the world sweetness capital and referring to the most ancient confectionery production, is able to propose by its chocolates, inimitable emotions, hard to forget.
This goal can only be reached by a careful raw ingredients selection and an attentive care in very processing stage.
